Tangled Feet take to 2013
We hit the ground running as we start 2013 with two projects laying the foundation for the year. First off we have a one week residency at ARC in Stockton as we develop some new site specific work and a return to inside spaces with the possibility of some national touring in 2014.
The second of our projects see us collaborating with Rainbow SIBS, a support group for children who have a brother or sister with autism. Over 6 weeks we will join Rainbow SIBS to create a Therapeutic Theatre Group. Working within a drama therapy setting the group will work towards creating a performance together.
We are thrilled to have received a grant to support our core costs from The Foyle Foundation to support our 2013 work. This is an exciting development and our first core grant. Thank you Foyle Foundation! We would also like to thank Arts Council England for recent funding towards our Artistic and Organisational development in early 2013.
Now Booking
We are taking bookings for Inflation, our political comedy, for this Summer.
Inflation
A bouncy castle sits in a public space. On it Tangled Feet try to solve the recession, understand currency trading and keep the darn thing up! Every attempt at order and structure is undermined by the shifting financial landscape and the actions of others. Using an evocative soundtrack, physicality and slapstick comedy Tangled Feet explore the uncertain ground our world is standing on.
Audience Feedback
“Absolutely fantastic. It was the most original event show I’ve seen in a very long time. Very sophisticated too.”
“Funny, clever, thought provoking”
“Fantastic fun idea with serious political content”
“Inflation should be mandatory viewing for everyone”
