The Arts Club Spectacular
In October 2009 tangled feet created a one off 12 minute spectacular as part of Nabokov Theatre Company’s infamous Arts Club: an extravaganza of theatre, music, comedy, poetry and lots more in a vast Victorian warehouse in the heart of Shoreditch.
The waters were rising and the bankers were desperate to escape the flood...
the only way they could go was up....
tangled feet collaborated with the band Clock Opera, Exponential Aerial Company
and designer Simon Daw to make something that sat somewhere between a live
music video, a happening and a piece of theatre. It featured a cast of 8 with
a secret flash mob of many more, live projection, aerial work, 200 glow sticks,
a 15-metre scaffold tower and giant indoor catherine wheels... all to a live
pumping soundtrack by the dazzling Clock
Opera.
