Tangled Feet on tour

We make work all over the UK

We work inside theatres, on high streets, in fields, in playgrounds, on scaffolding, on rivers. Tangled Feet know performance can happen anywhere, and believe that brilliant, transformative arts experiences should be available to everyone. We have a passion for making work with new partners in new places, and for making performances happen in new situations and places where people might not expect it. Want to talk to us about making a show happen where you are? Get in touch. To see where we'll be next, go to our Productions page.

6 Thoughts on Community Theatre/Working in schools

Tangled Feet have just returned from 9 days in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria where we co-created a new piece of site-specific theatre with 5 local schools (150 young people) and the local community. Since returning home I’ve been thinking about what it means to make work in and alongside a community and how powerful the effect can be when that community has less opportunity to access artistic experiences than others. I’ve also been thinking of where love fits into community theatre.
